Data Deletion Request - Hisab Waari

At Hisab Waari, we respect your privacy. This page provides clear instructions on how you can manage and permanently delete your data from our app and associated cloud services.

1. Data Managed by the App

We process the following types of information to provide app functionality:

• Personal Records: Names and phone numbers you enter for Udhar entries.
• Financial Records: All transaction history and balance details.
• Contact Access: Used only to select names/numbers locally. We do not store your contacts on any server.
• Cloud Backup: An encrypted database file stored in your personal Google Drive.

2. Steps to Delete Your Data Permanently

You can wipe all your data using the methods below:

Method A: Clear Local App Data

This removes all records from your smartphone instantly:

• Open the Hisab Waari app.
• Go to the side menu and select "Clear All Data".
• Alternatively, go to phone Settings > Apps > Hisab Waari > Storage > Clear Data.

Method B: Delete Google Drive Backup

If you have enabled backups, follow these steps to remove them from the cloud:

• Open the Google Drive app or go to drive.google.com.
• Locate the file: hisab_waari_backup.db
• Delete the file and Empty Trash in Google Drive.

Method C: Disconnect Account

• Visit your Google Security Settings.
• Find Hisab Waari in the list of third-party apps.
• Click Remove Access to stop all cloud interactions.
